Why did Yugoslavia break apart? Two sides to every story!

13 Jan

Yugoslavia was once a large, beautiful and prosperous land. Why did it break into 6 little pieces??

One day in late November.. i received an email from Boris Malagurski. He said he was the director of a few Serbian documentaries. He told me the names and I was blown away! I had watched two of them and loved them very much! He had seen me on tv and on Youtube and wanted to set up a meeting! I was invited to his residence in Belgrade last December. We had a fantastic chat and I learned many things about this talented young director!! He has some AWESOME future plans and hopefully I will be part of it!! Keep watching his website at   His next release is called BELGRADE and he has some great older ones available… my favorite was KOSOVO:CAN YOU IMAGINE.

Boris Malagurski is a Canadian citizen that has roots in Subotica, Serbia. He created this exciting and eye opening documentary on a shoe string budget! It is very thought provoking and scary to know what “higher powers” are really at work! There can be sinister plans at work in every global situation. Try to open your mind and see each situation from both sides and THEN decide if it was justified!

The Serbs have committed horrible acts in the past. Every great nation has its “dirty past!” The sad thing is you never hear of the suffering the Serbs went through!! It is covered up and never leaked to the global media! Serbs have been brutalized many times in their long history! The have been shot, raped, ethnically cleansed, killed in mass genocides and thousands upon thousands forced from their homes by “friendly” regimes! This film does an amazing job at capturing the Serbian side….

Check out the clip….

You can purchase it and a few other fantastic videos about Serbia on his website …

This is an amazing movie. I’ve seen it a couple times now. My boyfriend’s mom sat and watched it the other night, too. (Thanks to have Serbian subs for it since she doesn’t know English really.) And even she just shook her head it all. She was saying it was hard to see what was really happening under Tito. And sadly as much as she doesn’t like communism, she said it was sad that they lived better then and during the war even with rations and such than they do now.

    Glad you liked the movie!!

I should give you a list of books to read if you can get your hands on them, too.

Charles: Western media work that way, creating bad image of coutry that they are intresting in, like bombing Serbia, Libiya, Iraq, Avganistan! but it dosent stop there, if you go back you`ll see Panama, Vietnam ect… I strongly reqomend you to see this: (American ex economic hitman talking) (you`ll se what and how america do “bussines” all over the World)

    and this video:

I reqomend you to see all Zeitgeist videos if you have the time!

Unfortunatly something like that has been done by Americanes against Serbia!
I just dodnt understand this: how can it bee that only Serbs commited crimes in war and not others? for war it have to be min. 2 countries involvd, cant go to war by your self… I`m not saying that Serbians didn`t did crimes in war, but there are much biger crimes done to Serbians by others, and you`ll find that out if you go deeper in the historical fact, not the ones that western media presents but the other side!

    Cheers ^_^

Hello to you Charles! First, I must admit you great admire for your efforts to change “mainstream” view of the Serbs amongst Americans. The US public is well “conditioned” to view the Serbs (and the Slavs in general) in a very negative aspect. I really believe that you doing all this from the most sincere conviction. But, I just can’t understand how one serious man can compare US and Serbia, and write this: “The Serbs have committed horrible acts in the past. Every great nation has its “dirty past!””. US not only have (very, very, very) dirty past, but they are dirty now (Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan, Haiti, current occupation of 15% Serbian soil -Kosovo) and will be dirty in the near future (Iran, Syria). Infinite series of wars for oil and resources around the globe… How Americans view their enemies? Not as people, but as “evil creatures”. People are people only if they are Anglo-Saxon. Otherwise, they are just points in a first-person-shooter game. Of course, if someone told them that these people LIVE there, and therefore fight in their land, it would short circuit their brainwashed minds. The same thing was apparently done with the Indians and General Caster, but now that the Indians are no longer a threat, they have the political “correctness” to state that this was wrong. After REAL genocide under more than 25 millions Native Americans. And my final point, all things you liked in Serbia are remaining from our TRADITION. Holly hospitality- that every Serb must treat every guest as king and offer mu the best food and fool attention is part of ancient knowledge that in every man is created on God image, and every stranger can be a angel. Compassion, sharing, empathy all comes with 2000 long ancient tradition… All NEW AGE “values” are completely opposite with those traditional…

thanks for reading…you are judging all Americans and i dont like that… many of my friends, family and myself…. dont judge other based on their ethnicity, race, religion, etc…. my great grandma was cherokee indian… i am aware of many of the bad things that happened.. no one should be “grouped” in with generalizations.. its not fair..
